He was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on September 2, 1972. Master of Plastic Arts, graduated from the Honduran National School of Fine Arts in 1993. Throughout history artists have represented the harlequin, classic character of the Comedy of Art (Commedia dell'arte). His costume is made of multicolored rhombuses that artists like Pablo Picasso Joan Miro and Juan Gris (Spanish painters) used as central motive in his creations and that in modern and contemporary art is still an element for good compositions in painting. In the history of Honduran painting, we have rarely seen it depicted, with some exceptions in the work of Dante Lazzaron and yet Sandre's work has become a recurring theme over several years. Stating a basic development which denotes, as these characters in the work of the artist become protagonists of various compositions with different content and themes until it is established as a permanent dialogue between the artist and his viewers.
The recurring pair of harlequins in Sandre's work has also become a formal pretext to extend onto the canvas an unusual chromatic right very much in keeping with the circus world where the maximum contrast harmoniesare decisive to create the very pleasant tonal effects in view of the viewer.
