HENDRY RIVERA

Honduran visual artist whose work explores the temporality of human existence through color, form, and academic technique. A graduate of the National School of Fine Arts (1998), Rivera has participated in numerous exhibitions within his country, as well as internationally, sharing his vision across cultural borders.
Currently, he is part of a collective of entrepreneurial artists, with whom he has expanded his presence on the global art stage. Beyond his studio practice, Rivera serves as a representative and Honorary Board Member of the Finnish-Honduran Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cultural exchange and international friendship.
Rivera’s artistic statement delves into the complexities of modern human experience—addressing themes of codification, alienation, and the influence of consumer society. He reflects on how contemporary culture often evokes the image of a “false god,” immersing us in a liquid modernity where individuals become restless consumers and seekers of fleeting entertainment.
