NACHO GARDONIO

Ignacio Gardonio was born in 1984 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina; Born and raised in a family that encourages creativity, literature, and music. Since childhood, he had the ability to describe and add color to things.

His first studies were multidisciplinary workshops of Visual Arts. In 2012 he attended the National University of the Arts to pursue a degree in Visual Arts at where he exhibited his first paintings. In his studies, he include photography and advertising.

He attended art clinics and workshops with various teachers that enabled him to find a dynamic form that led him to specialize in Expressionism and kitsch art. He served as a Professor of fine arts at a the University in Argentina.He is currently exhibiting the series "Plastic 19”.Teaching classes and workshops, he also develops interventions in cultural and public events.

He used a mixed technique which encompasses all kinds of materials: acrylics, aerosols, plastics and tempera. In addition to glitter and small objects, the colors he try to transmit the energy surrounded by sweetness, harmony, and love full of movements light and color. The paintings give us that playful, expressive and cheerful feeling that mixes with the pictorial optimism that appears in each line which makes the viewer get fully and unique language, full of life, color and chaotic harmony.

A punk boy who paints his universe of colors and textures, not only in picture format but also in intervention of objects.
